Chemical Health Assessments

Assessments take 60-90 minutes and are $185

Northern Bridges Recovery’s comprehensive Chemical Health Assessment (sometimes referred to as a Chemical Dependency Evaluation and formerly “Rule 25” in the state of Minnesota), is a structured interview to determine if a person has a diagnosable alcohol or drug use disorder. Chemical Health Assessments are done by an experienced licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and are private, confidential, and informative.

These evaluations are used in the state of Minnesota by drug treatment centers, district courts (often court-ordered), lawyers/attorneys, probation agencies, and employers. Our assessments may satisfy:

  • probation requirements

  • court-requirements for alcohol or drug violations

  • attorney-recommend action for DWI or DUI violations,

  • driver’s license reinstatement,

  • family court

  • employer, family, or personal concerns

Assessments screen for the eleven symptoms of addiction, referred to in the medical community as substance use disorders. Our assessor will inquire about past chemical health issues, family history, your employment, hobbies, and the reason for the assessment. Once the assessment has concluded, a recovery plan will be implemented.

Northern Bridges Recovery provides assessments in-office, in your home, at a convenient meeting location or via a virtual visit. We want to provide a safe setting that supports you.
